I spent more time yesterday checking my adsense account than doing much writing yesterday. I did start a new keyword branch on this site, the one that I first intended. I kind of started out of order though and will correct that soon. As far as posting goes, I only wrote one post and didn’t post on my financial site, so will have to get that going again today. It’s one of those things, you when you miss a step you have to keep going and not quit because you don’t do it one day.
This site is going to be a unique experience. I started it differently than I thought I would because Griz sent me so much traffic. It’s really tough not to go into my google adsense account and slap some adsense on it. I’m still getting a lot of traffic from there but I’ve got a few return visitors also. Today, we are going to do that just to see what happens. See if the traffic is adsense traffic. I’ve noticed a lot of them are bouncing. We already know it’s not search traffic. So we should already know it’s going to be zero.
Someone commented on one of my posts, that they have had their Google adsense account disabled. I felt for them. I’m not sure what happened, but the best advice I can give is to not click your own ads, not do any shady things like spamming or sending pay per click traffic to the site. If you write good content and good quality and get good quality links, then I doubt you’ll have any problems. I think most of us worry about that or someone else screwing with our sites. I guess anything is possible.
My adsense account is growing. I’ve actually tripled last years earnings with little effort on my part. I am wondering how my 7 site challenge is going to turn out. How much adsense revenue will I see. It’s fun checking it all of the time, but I have noticed that the more content you do, the less you check it. My problem is every time I go to Google to search something, I figure why not check it? Lol.
Anyway, it’s time to check your adsense account. Go do it!

My number one AdSense tip, especially in this niche? Less is more. One large rectangle brings much better financial results than several ad units. Google obviously places the higher paying ads first … less real estate, better prices to the publisher. Of course, like everything else, YMMV.
