Hey guys. Well, it’s been pretty cool watching my adsense earnings increase this month. And, really, I haven’t really worked that hard. It is amazing what a little original content and backlinking will do. I’ve been working off and on too. The key is to keep moving forward little bits at a time. It adds up. Anyone can do this. I’m telling you that if you have a computer and blog, you can make money working from home or on the road. I actually am on the road several days a week and that is where I do most of my writing. If you have a computer and an internet connection you are in business.
It wasn’t that long ago that I was kind of clueless to how to get adsense earning increases. I would get a click here and a click there but lately it has been really consistent and I know that if I keep adding content, it will go up. And it will for you if you work at it and you know what direction to go. That’s where the Keyword Academy has really helped me. If you haven’t joined, you need to. Just the core videos are worth way more than the price of admission. Plus, you’ll get some much needed help on how to handle the backlinking part.
Over the last few months my traffic has been going up along with my google adsense earnings. Here is a snapshot I took a few minutes ago.
You can see that the traffic has been climbing and I am only half way through the day for today. I am still amazed that you can build a site, not tell anyone, not pay for advertising and still see a bunch of people come to your website and start making money on the internet. Isn’t that incredible?
With traffic, you can earn with adsense as well as other types of monetization (which is what was discussed in last nights webinar). Here was a my adsense account that showed my earnings.
As you can see, it’s almost a $100 for the month. I’ve got a few more days and am fairly certain, it’s going to go past that. I am very excited to see how high I can get that number. I’m not sure where you are in your journey with adsense, but if you keep it up, you can make it work. It takes consistent effort. Work a little everyday to build your sites.
Now go write some content so you can grow your adsense earnings!

I’m pumped for you, man. I must say, you’re an effective writer – every time I read one of your posts, I get closer and closer to joining keyword academy. There is no catch. It’s a dollar for full access for the first month and $33 a month after. There is no contract. I joined in April. When you join, I’d recommend that you do the following:
1. Watch the core videos. This will explain the basic concept of selecting keywords and getting backlinks and setting things up.
2. A lot of people like the videos on how to use hubpages.
Keep in mind on the videos that some of the screenshots might be from older wordpress versions but the concepts are the same.
There is also a very active forum discussing everything so you can look through the archives for answers to questions people have had. Now that the academy has been around for awhile, there are people at all stages of development. Don’t let that let you lose sight of the overall procedure:
1. Research keywords
2. Write posts targeting those keywords
3. Get backlinks
4. Repeat
Don’t overanalyze it. I’ve gotten a ton of backlinks from the academy in two ways:
1. Networking with other members
2. The article directories that they have set up.
In the next few weeks they are going to be bringing on some new backlinking tools that should help even more. You can get by without the membership and learn through trial and error and you will still be learning as you do it to see what works best, but it certainly filled in a lot of holes for me.
Oh and one more thing, just knowing the information won’t make money for you. You have to apply it by writing and working a plan.

Good on you, as they say down under. You are living evidence for the doubters. Select keywords that pay something (as in nearly any of the broad areas of finance and debt) and write something about the subject.
I’m not a KWA member but I would certainly recommend it, or something similar, for folks who can’t seem to get organized. For those who drop by and leave shaking their heads with the ‘it can’t happen to me’ thoughts, I’d ask you, what have you written this past week? And what was the subject?
The answers to those questions are the key to screen shots like the ones above, or going into your online banking site as I just did and seeing that, yet again, Google has delivered. Month after month, thank you big G!. The system works … but you have to also.
It doesn’t happen by magic, it doesn’t happen by skill, it doesn’t happen from any magic tool, it happens by picking keywords and writing, building links, then picking and writing some more.
It’s work, but it beats h*ll out out of going to an office, I’ll testify to that..
