Well, it was another good day as far as putting content up yesterday. I thought I was going to have to call in the adsense help squad. It was one of those days where I just didn’t feel like writing anything. I did finally do it, but stayed up way later than I wanted to. I got though it by watching some Entourage. I started that series and am in season two. It made the time pass. Once I got started, it wasn’t so bad, but it probably wasn’t my best work yesterday. You are going to have that happen though. Don’t worry about it. Just continue working your plan.
No amount of Google adsense help will put content up for you. You’ve got to do it one way or the other. Sure you can outsource it. But if you don’t want to spend the money or you can’t, that isn’t going to work. Putting content up is the one thing that you CAN control and it doesn’t cost you a dime. It’s amazing that I’ve been able to complete my tasks each day and still have been able to check my adsense account about 80 times a day….lol. I think what spurred me on yesterday was getting a clickbank sale. I actually had made it the day before. So, I bet you can guess what I am doing now. I’m checking that clickbank account 80 times a day too….too funny. Well maybe not 80.
The point is you can be distracted by an adsense help forum (went to one of those yesterday) and still get a bare minimum of content done. Lower the bar. I think when I watch all of these guys doing 8000 posts a month, I get motivated to do the same, but it’s really hard to do that without help. Focus on what you can do and set the standard there. For me, the standard I have set is one post a day and four backlinks. I think it will pay off but I don’t know for sure. The rest is out of my control.
Even though I set a minimum standard, I actually have been exceeding it. I am now at 50 posts and already have 11 posts here which I didn’t expect to do. I do have another bunch of posts on some blogs I don’t focus on and I’m trying to figure out what to do with those.
You can do more than the minimum if you choose. Set the standard low. Get in the habit of setting a standard, reaching it and then raising the bar. Don’t set the bar high and then come down. Work on what you know you can get done and then elevate your game. Little steps create momentum. I think yesterday, I did two posts here and two on my other sites.
On to today’s plan:
- One article on my financial site
- Four backlinks
- One article on my work site (you are going to see a new set of keywords come out here)
- Check my adsense account (I’ve got this one down pat, you should see me in action)
- Check my stats
- If I have time, get links for my search terms
I set this site up to have adsense site on it. So, I’m going to be doing some other keywords, so don’t be surprised to see new stuff besides posts about help with adsense.
