I actually bounce around on page one of Google from spot 1 to spot 4 with my sites main keyword. My goal is to get as many of the keywords from each post to the number one position. This takes work and time. One thing that always motivates me is that most people don't do any linking, so it is easy to pass most of them up with just a little work.
