It's just too much fun to checking that adsense account. Have a good holiday!

You know, when I retired from a 'real J.O.B.' (Just Over Broke) some years ago, the only thing I could really find to complain about was I never had a day off or a federal holiday. I now live outside the US also, so the little calendar of holidays that used to mean so much to me is now just a distant memory.

A year or so ago I had a minor issue with my bank (back in the US). A payment from one of my online endeavors hadn't cleared and some other transfer or something hadn't gone though, and I emailed the customer service department ... actually a bit concerned that perhaps somehting had gone awry with my account.

The lady on email answering duty (she must have felt lonely I later realized ;-) answered me back quite courteously and said, "Umm sir, did you forget this is Labor Day weekend? There is just me and the security guards as the whole work force of the bank available today, but I'm sure those transactions you are writing about will take place Tuesday morning after the rest of the employees get back to work."

I completely forgot again that it was Labor Day weekend until I read this post. Apparently a lot of the world did as well, as it has just passed "Google Midnight" here and I checked my stats from Sunday ... way up ... I guess a lot of people stayed home, surfed and clicked.

I try like the dickens to avoid checking my Google stats more than once a day ... even better to skip several days if you can ... the money seems to grow faster when they aren't being checked ... after all, the big "G" knows everything, they certainly know when you are checking your stats as well.

You can not reliably set up a site to make money from AdSense overnight, but you absolutely can earn money, consistent and bankable money from Google. Best of luck on your quest, I'm interested in every post.
