Hot Adsense Keywords

Hey guys. So, I’ve been spending some time posting and wanted to share with you something I discovered yesterday — hot adsense keywords. I decided that I would do an experiment and find a really, really, really green keyword as defined by the Keyword Academy. Today, I discovered I had $25.00 buck so far on the traffic brought in by that post today alone. After I found the other keyword that also brought me traffic to the same post, I decided to do another post to get me a double index earlier today as Griz laid out on his make money blog awhile back.

It was wild because about 10 minutes after the post, mine was ranked number one. And when I made the second post, I had a double index right away.

This leads me to conclusion number one and that is that for the most part we are going after keywords that are too hard. Even at the keyword academy, I see people go after keywords that are just too difficult. Hey I do it too. Mainly because I am in it for the long hall. I came to this conclusion after a guy named Fraser laid out his strategy for going after keywords. Next to Court, Mark, and Griz, I’d put Fraser up there as the man as far as success with adsense keywords and I pay careful attention to what he says.

The second conclusion is that we are relying on the Google Keyword tool to tell us all of the keywords and that is just not the case. If you can see it from Google’s perspective you can see why they give you a general idea of what the keywords are. This sorts out the spammers from the real content providers.

What I did today was kind of unique in that I found a website in my niche that was promoting a service in my niche and I figured that anyone interested in that service would probably search for information about what it was all about before they did anything with it. My assumption was correct and my adsense revenue was right on target with the norm.

The key here is to write targeted easy content and to get a lot of it out there. You never know what keyword is going to be a goldmine unless you experiement and pay attention to what people are really wanting to know when they sit down in front of the computer. I will also tell you that if you aren’t a member of the Keyword Academy, you should join now. It takes the mystery out of the whole process. Here’s a Keyword Academy Review.

Here is my adsense screenshot for the day.

Very impressive, man. Looks like you aren’t having any trouble bouncing back from last month’s deficit. I’m jealous. I had a $6.00 day last month…$25 on one post, very impressive.

You know, I’d like to say it was skill, but it was a bit of dumb luck. But I have learned from experience that luck happens the more effort you put into your cause.

FYI: Last month my adsense revenue was about $68 bucks and I cleared the threshold for payment again which was cool.

I don’t mean to hog your comment section, but I was thinking about your post this morning on the way to work (mainly how accomplished I’d feel if I made $25 “passively” today), and I arrived at an epiphany.

Your post, Fraser’s, and several others I’ve read over these past few months have kind of made me reevaluate the way I look at my traffic stats. The past couple months, I’ve been looking at my keyword reports, and thinking, “Alright! I’m close to nailing the keyword I’m targeting”. Or, more often, “Crap, I’m waaaay off target…and discouraged”.

Though I feel it’s important to monitor the my kw targeting accuracy, I think I’m going to start treating my Keyword reports like reader emails…If I find that someone came to my site looking for “the world’s most expensive blue spotted widgets”, and I don’t specifically talk about “the world’s most expensive blue spotted widgets” in any of my posts, I’ll make a new post to answer that question, or at least alter an existing one. Over a few years, I could potentially dominate my niche.

I know this isn’t an original concept – people target longtails all the time. It just never really dawned on me. I think you just helped shake something loose.

Thanks!

I am jealous!

It wouldn’t be too much to ask you for that keyword? Just kidding, LOL!

But seriously, do you start with high CPC or high volume when you are researching on that keyword? I never had a post that brings in such high revenue. Good job!

Btw, I just broke the $100 mark last month, sort of earlier than I expected but it was encouraging. Keep these posts coming!

Lol….well the next two days brought nada!

For the post in question, I just chose a site in my niche that had poor page rank and wrote a post about. Didn’t even use the tool. Congrats on breaking the $100 mark. That means you are doing the right things.

Keep it going..!
