Keep us updated on your progress. It's always great to see other people working on stuff and and hearing how it turns out.

Awesome man. I'm working on a very similar experiment right now...only about half as ambitious of a keyword (4400 local search volume). $650 is a nice chunk o' change...hope it works out for you. Keep bangin!

Well, I noticed that Griz posts and then you don't see him for a while and part of it is, I think he is building links to his site. So I'm going to do the same on my finance site and see where it gets me. The only change that I am going to make is building up the related keywords on the site while I get the back links. What I do when I see that a site is doing well is instead of spending more time on it, try and create something new instead of focusing on what is working...lol. I say that because one of my sites, which isn't really keyword focused does fairly well, but I never go work on it.....shame on me!

Interesting. I was trying to do some planning, strategic planing that is today and I have come to somewhat the same idea. I was wondering if you were in the Keyword Academy or some other program ... I would think that is one of the first strategic things to do for a new comer instead of chasing one keyword after another and using one guru's method after another.

One problem when you have a number of sites across a broad area of interest is putting out fires, and/or chasing shiny objects. Example, I had a plan to really push some keywords on my Retired Pay site a bout two months back, but then a site that I have about living and retiring in the Philippines kind of went ablaze ... when something picks up it's income and traffic by a factor of 10 or more, it's hard to focus on what the original plan was. Bot that I am complaining, of course ... but I really think the focus on one or a very few closely related words at a time is the way yo go in the long run, for the long run.
