Hubpage Challenge Preparation

I’m continuing my updates on my 100 hubs in 30 days challenge. As I mentioned in my last post, my next step was keyword research. One of the best things about being a member of the Keyword Academy is the tools that you have available to help you with the keyword research. I was able to get hundreds of keywords by utilizing a couple of services. One provided by the academy and one provided by a member (which I paid extra for) to save myself tons of time in this step. In fact, it’s probably less than 24 hours since I started selecting them.

If you are not a member of the Keyword Academy, you can join for a trial membership for a $1.00 and have access to everything. Because of the tools you’ll find, you’ll want to extend your membership.

I was inspired tonight by Courts post on his blog about taking each step he outlines. There are a lot of people who did parts of the hubpages challenge but very few people actually do all of the steps. While you can make some money that way, if you want to have extraordinary results, you’ve got to make extraordinary efforts. The way I looked at it is I can’t expect to get better results doing the same old crap I’ve been doing.

Court’s first step was creating a keyword list and keeping track of it in a spreadsheet.

Step one complete.

Now, I’m breaking down each keyword in to it’s related cousins and I should have that done in a couple of days.

I’m curious how you are planning to link your support articles into your hubs. 1/hub or are you going to interlink them as well?

I have this link wheelish theory that I’m attempting to put into practice but it’s a little slow going because I’m kind of lazy… I mean busy.

I was thinking that if you made a link wheel of hubs, infobarrels, and such and linked them all together it’d end up being better than 1 ezine linked straight into a hub and 1 goarticle linking into a hub. Dunno but it sounds like it should work.

If I understand your question correctly, I’ll be getting single links to my hubs and not doing a link wheel. I’ll also be interlinking them among each other. I know some people who have strengthened their links as you have mentioned with success, or that’s the impression I got.

  3. Next week will be start of your challenge and I wish you all the best!

I have put up adsense on 2 of my microsites last week to test the click rate. I am happy to report that the two sites have bought in $10 so far even though both of their keywords are ranked on page 2. Looks promising and I will be putting up adsense on 8 other sites which are already ranking to see the results.

    Take care!
