Hey guys. Well, I feel like I am playing monopoly and I just passed go and landed on chance. The card I pulled said go back to the adsense sandbox. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Lol. Yes, I’ve fallen into the sandbox again and therefore I am no where to be found in the search engine results. I think my offense this time, other than being new, is that I added so much content so quickly. I am up to 84 posts on my financial site. The last time this happened, I was in for about 30 days. I am not sure if I came out because someone gave me a strong link or what, but I am back in.
The previous time I entered the google sandbox, I kind of moped around a bit and this time, I’m going to continue working. But, I can tell you that it is disappointing. I had kind of come to the realization that my site had settled in, when the fact is, when your site is new and you are targeting a good market for advertisers, Google is going to make sure you are really legit. They want to protect the integrity of the product they offer.
So, here I stand, in the sand now.
Before I went in though, I wanted to tell you that I was mining my search results and tayloring my content to the ways in which people were finding my site. I was discovering that when I did that, my traffic kept going up. I could tell I was starting to get some authority for my keyword set because my new posts would bring in traffic right away.
Since there is no traffic now, I am writing on what I call my green keywords. I have a list of 100 that I am going through and I added another 4 yet this morning and another 8 to 10 last night. I’m also trying to clean up my site a bit and organize my categories into keyword branches that I am targeting. I feel like I finally understand how to set up my site and how to analyze keywords. I couldn’t really have done it though without the help of the keyword academy. If you are not a member, I strongly recommend it if you want ot reduce the learning curve. You can join the the Keyword Academy here.
Keep working guys!
