You are right that it is easier to write about topics you are interested in. I've found that lately, the blogs that excite me the most are the ones getting clicks!

You should start with one adsense account. You'll be fine. Google permits one account per person or "entity" like a corporation or LLC. That will give you options later if you feel you need them. If you are just starting out, one account is sufficient. Google isn't out to get everyone like it might seem.

I have also read Grizzly's lessons on money making and found them very enlightening .Am also planning to start I already have an Adsense Account. My major concern is can one use only one adsense account for all the different Blogs created.i.e if you creat say 5 Blogs do you have to use only one adsense account? It appears Google does not allow opening of more than one adsense account. Please Help me internalise this Point before I can start.

Excellent post.

Your goals are extremely specific and extremely ambitious. I very much hope you can stick with this project. I'm confident that if you can you will be raking in a lot of AdSense money. Love your strategy about it not being an overnight process.

I'm guessing the most difficult thing will be maintaining the blogs you're least interested in. I hope for your sake that between the Financial, travel, sleep, law, insurance, work, and home sites you've picked subcategories that you're not going to get tired of.

I really wish you the best of luck. Good luck with your sustained motivation.

I've often thought I should write a post "How to get less done in more time" Keep us updated on your progress. Remember that a little bit each day will go along way.

Michael,

I like your plan. It is solid and easily fits around a full time job. Now the secret here is to do it! LOL

The biggest problem that I have had is I can think up way more things to do than I have time to do. I created to many sites in too many niches and they are all neglected.

I am not a gifted writer so that makes it even more difficult for me. But.............
I am glad I visited your site (got the link from Griz) and I am going to follow your plan and I will get back with you on the results.

To everyone's success,

Dirk

My friend, you just sang my song - far more beautifully than I ever could. Lovely harmonies! It seems like everyday, I'll get this huge, grandiose idea that I'm going to invent, build, or more relevantly, blog on. I'll spend a day creating a compelling intro to the idea, and then I'll start researching...overwhelming research, and like you mentioned, getting wrapped up trying to create back links. My creator's high quickly turns into defeated discouragement, I convince myself that it won't work, and I hatch the next "great idea" to make myself feel better. Repeat cycle.

I just started a new blog, tracking my personal progress of making money online, and the first person to comment on my blog was someone who referred me to Griz's site. Well, you must be doing something right because I found you on his blog. Anyway, I just want to say I'm very relieved to find someone else who has shared my pain. You have some great ideas - a few that I'll have to try out myself. I look forward to hearing more on your progress.

Thanks,

Michael: I absolutely love this plan! I'm thinking of taking it and using it myself, it seems like the perfect mix of steady progress and smart theory. I have built a hundred post site backlinked exactly as you describe in a month, and it was a LOT of work, I wouldn't be able to do that over an extended period of time. In fact, I got a little burned out and haven't been too productive this month as a result.

I think that a long term view like this is not only going to keep you consistently cranking out content, but it's also going to make you look good in the eyes of the great G. I have been wondering whether my superduper site is going to get penalised for it's big flurry of activity followed by nothing. I think I will take your idea of continual posting once a week to keep it alive.

Thanks again for a great post and some excellent insights. I'll be watching your progress eagerly .
